I'm going to Europe for 35 days, starting October 1st, 2015. It's been booked, and this is the magic that is about to go down... in 45 days:
Paris 6 days
Amsterdam 4 days
Berlin 8 days
Rome 5 days
Venice 4 days
Lisbon 6 days
Paris, again! 2 days
Last year when I went to Europe, I spoke the language of three of the places I went... because that language was English. They were London, Dublin and Edinburgh. Barcelona and Paris were a bit tough, but I managed and had an amazing time.
This time, unless the locals take mercy on me, I am in trouble! I don't speak French, Dutch, German, Italian twice, or Portuguese. Sooooo, that means that this blog, which I plan to write a post for each day, will likely be full of funny/rage-laced comments. It will have nothing to do with the people in the countries I'm visiting, and everything to do with me and my language ignorance.
It's going to be a blast, and now I get to actually start planning! I have the flights and AirBNB booked, but now is the time for the places I want to see and the food I want to eat. The later, of course, the best part about each of the places I've chosen!
Especially Germany, because you guys, I'm there during Octoberfest!
