15. Dublin, What Up!

Well, I've arrived in Dublin, Ireland!

I can't say much yet, as I've only arrived at the AirBNB place, looked at some maps, and now grabbing some dinner. This post will not be super lively, but I can say the following:

1. The Irish accent is mesmerizing. Plus ten.
2. Gentlemen exist here! Doors opened, pathways cleared. Either they're gentlemen or I smell. Hmm...
3. The woman whose place I'm staying at is an absolute doll, and boy can she talk up an Irish storm!
4. There have been church bells going off for a good ten minutes now... like hardcore going off! Fun?
5. Queen of Tarts is an extremely popular pastry shop, and it's right near where I'm staying. Trouble!

So, I flew RyanAir to Dublin, and aside from the lack of hip space (more my fault than anyone else's), the flight was great. They were on time, in fact the flight was 25 minutes faster than originally planned, my bag fit in their measurement thing like a glove (I did a lot of damn research on that bag, so it better!), and they allow you a purse as well as a bag, unlike EasyJet, so that was a bonus.

Then I got on a shuttle that takes you right to the city centre, just three blocks from where I'm staying. The same thing in Edinburgh, take you from and to the airport for £8, and in Dublin it's €14. I leave Dublin so early in the morning next week, due to a slight glitch in my 24-time telling intelligence, so I will be getting on the shuttle at 4:30am... I don't really want to talk about it... okay fine, here's what happened. It's quite simple, I was booking six flights and four AirBNB stays in one night months ago, and simply messed up one am for pm. It is what it is, and I'll just be tired is all. It'll give me more time in Barcelona, so I'm choosing to see that as a good thing!

Alright folks, done eating and headed back for a little relaxing night without wifi or TV. Ummm, I have no idea what to do...

I will upload pictures of the place I'm staying to a new post tomorrow, once I'm back in wifi (I don't have the little camera connector thingy with me at the restaurant).

Tomorrow there's a castle, a cathedral, a tart or two and some other hijinks I'm sure. Until then!
